Mike McCall

Director of Agronomy/Golf Course Maintenance

Mike McCall received his education at Purdue University and Pennsylvania State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and an Associates Degree in Turfgrass Management respectively.

Before entering the golf industry Mike was a U.S. Naval officer where he served as an engineering officer onboard the aircraft carrier USS Independence (CV-62) stationed in Yokosuka, Japan during operations Desert Watch and Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf and later as an instructor at the Surface Warfare Officer's School in Newport, RI.

After his internship at the renowned Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, PA and graduating from Penn State as valedictorian Mike began his agronomic career as the golf course superintendent of the South Course at NCR Country Club where he was involved in the preparations and execution of the 1998 U.S. Men's Mid-Amateur Championship. He then went on to serve as golf course superintendent of Champaign Country Club, Champaign, IL and Casperkill Golf Club, Poughkeepsie, NY where he has remained serving in the dual role of General Manager and Director of Grounds.

Mike likes to read, golf, workout and spend time with his two young daughters. Mike spends a great deal of his discretionary time serving as the Vice President of his local school board and as a board member of its recently established education foundation.

Mike and wife LeeAnn have been married for 20 years and live in Poughkeepsie, New York.
