A seasoned golf industry business consultant and member of the CSI team of professionals providing banks, owners, ownership groups, and board of director’s professional advice concerning the development and operation of golf facilities; specializing in startups, acquisitions, restructuring, re-invention strategic planning, and membership programming.   Over 40 years’ experience in the Private and Semi-Private Club Industry:

Kasten served as Principal and Vice President of Business Development at Century Golf Partners where he led the New Business Team responsible for achieving the company’s growth goals through acquisitions, joint ventures, long-term leases, management contracts and new product development.

Prior to joining Century Golf Partners in 2013, Ken was a Senior Vice President and Director of Recreational Facilities at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. in the ORE (Owned Real Estate)/Special Situations Group. Based in Dallas, his primary role was directing the asset management of clubs, golf properties, and resorts in the ORE portfolio but also managed several large residential and commercial properties.

Ken also served in a variety of operational and club development roles over a 30 year career with ClubCorp including Senior Vice President/New Business Development where he structured and negotiated acquisition, lease, and management agreements as well as oversaw the operational and financial performance of new acquisition, management and development clubs. 

He was also a Senior Vice President of Leisure Services at FPA Corporation, a regional real estate development company in the Southeast, US, where he directed the planning, development, and operations of private club’s anchoring high end residential communities and successfully implemented several of the first “up-front” equity and “bundled” membership programs in Florida.

Ken received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Florida State University majoring in Hospitality Management.

Ken enjoys playing golf and is a student of the game.  He enjoys martial arts, is a first-degree black belt in Ji-Mu-Do and enjoys reading fiction & non-fiction.  Ken and Jennifer have been married for 33 years and live in Southlake Texas, a suburb of Dallas.  They have two sons; Clay and Corbin.
